notsuki: Following an exploration of “delusional science” in Chaos;Head, “hypothetical science” in Steins;Gate and “augmented science” in Robotics;Notes 5pb. will be going into the realm of “paranormal science” in their fourth science adventure, Occultic;Nine. Occultic;Nine will be the light novel debut of the “science adventure series” creator Chiyomaru Shikura. The announcement is being made at this weekend’s Comic Market 83 event at the Tokyo Big Sight complex. The story follows nine idiosyncratic individuals, including a black magic proxy/medium and a dōjin manga creator. Little incongruities that occur around these nine eventually lead to larger, unimaginable events that may alter what is considered common sense in this world. You can view the trailer here.
